itsa FILM thing is a collaborative film review and opinion blog with no illusions of grandeur. We’re a rag-tag team of film enthusiasts who enjoy sharing our opinions on the better releases throughout all of film history. We make no guarantees to be the definitive anything or other such pompous statements. We do however know how to make a mean bowl of microwave popcorn but that’s a secret recipe.

The abundance of professionally run websites, magazines and newspapers offering the latest reviews and news means there is very little chance for us to compete with them in a timely manner. This suits us just fine. In 2008 there were just under 600 films released from America alone. A publication offering you reviews of new releases will unavoidably present you with varying degrees of tripe with the odd gem. We hope to tip the scales towards the gems from around the world released throughout film history. That’s our pompous statement to you.  ;)

Amongst the half baked posts we like to call reviews, we will share our views on the ever changing film industry via opinion pieces. We will cover everything from the rising popularity of animation to the effects of illegal downloading. We promise to sound intelligent, informative, intellectual, inquisitive, ingenious, inferior,  indefatigable, infinitely interesting and if you can come up with any more words starting with in, or if you wish to get in touch for any other reason, please use this contact form.
